Texshare Cards

The following criteria is necessary for HPL patrons to receive a Texshare card:

  • must be a current cardholder (account not expired)
  • card must be at least 6 months old
  • account must be free of any blocks, fines or fees owed or accrued
  • must be a resident of the city of Houston

Patrons need to take the Texshare card to the library they wish to borrow materials from to get a library card from that institution. Texshare card alone is normally not acceptable.
